The Jr. Spartans Volleyball Program is an independent volunteer run organization that is a feeder program for Brookfield East . Boys who play in our program will be attending Brookfield East as their high school. We strive to develop the physical, mental, and emotional talents of each athlete 5th through 8th grade in our boys volleyball program.
All Jr. Spartan Volleyball teams play in the Greater Metro Power League (GMPL), which is a 6 week tournament played on weekends at sites in the Milwaukee/Waukesha area from September through October.
All teams will practice 2 nights per week starting in August and running through October.

The 2024 registration fee is $325.00 for the season. This covers league costs, practice equipment, team volleyballs, one uniform shirt per player, team libero jerseys, season family pass to get into all games, coaches’ fees, background checks and registration fees for all coaches, gym rental (if needed), insurance, and club administration costs.
Please note that a full refund is possible before June 15th. After June 15th, there will be no refunds issued unless your child does not make a team. Deciding to leave the program because you were placed on a team that you do not want to be on does not warrant a refund.

Typically there will be 10-12 players on a team. Depending on registration numbers we may make multiple teams at each age level or we may combine age levels if numbers are low.
All athletes within the boys program will be placed on a team, however, assessments may be needed to determine team placement based on skills.
Practices are held twice a week for 1 ½ hours on Monday / Wednesday or Tuesday / Thursday.
They will be held at Dixon Elementary or Pilgrim Park Middle School. The practices will be determined based on the coach’s schedule and availability once teams are formed.
If a player is unable to attend a practice, they must inform the coach as soon as possible. Failure to attend practice may affect playing time during game days.

Playing time guidelines are established by Brookfield East Jr Spartans Volleyball Club, and each coach has the discretion to adjust this for circumstances such as practice attendance, attitude, disciplinary, etc.
Guidelines per our Handbook:
- 5th grade (ALL Teams) – Balanced play with coaches discretion for 3rd set tiebreaks or championship play
- 6th grade (All Teams) – Balanced play with coaches discretion for 3rd set tiebreaks or championship play
- 7th grade (Red/White Teams) – Balanced play with coaches discretion for 3rd set tiebreaks or championship play
- 8th grade (Red/White Teams) – Balanced play with coaches discretion for 3rd set tiebreaks or championship play
- 7th and 8th grade (Navy) – Coach’s discretion - All kids will play, but equal playing time is not guaranteed
If a player or parent has questions regarding their playing time, they should first discuss this with the coach after 24 hours. If no resolution is reached, a meeting may be scheduled to include the Club Director
